Why Rebirth exists

Rebirth is the long-term accelerator in +1 Strength for Eggs. Training with Dumbbells raises Strength so you can break walls and reach Eggs, but raw Strength alone does not scale forever. Rebirth trades a chunk of soft progress for Cash multipliers that make every future Animal tick and shop purchase stronger.

The headline rule players need tattooed on their HUD: Dumbbells stay after Rebirth. You are not wiped back to Wood. That single keep-rule makes rebirth far more attractive than in simulators that delete gear.

What keeps vs what resets

Exact UI labels can shift after patches, but the practical split players plan around is:

Rebirth in the full loop

1. Train Strength with the best owned Dumbbell.
2. Break walls into richer biomes (walls guide).
3. Hatch Eggs into Animals that earn Cash offline.
4. Upgrade Animals until Cash gains flatten.
5. Rebirth for multipliers when the next hour of grinding yields less than the multiplier jump.
6. Re-enter the loop with the same Dumbbells but faster Cash → faster upgrades → faster next shop tiers.

Mutations multiply Animal output on top of rebirth Cash multipliers. A Rainbow (3x) Animal after several rebirths is how endgame Void / Celestial Dumbbells become realistic. See How to Get Mutations.

When to Rebirth (decision framework)

Rebirth when most of these are true:

• Your best affordable Dumbbell is already bought and the next price jump feels enormous relative to earn rate.
• Animals are placed and upgraded enough that offline Cash is meaningful.
• You are waiting on walls more because of Cash than because of missing Strength tools (remember: Dumbbells keep).
• The rebirth multiplier preview clearly beats another 30–60 minutes of raw farming.
• You are not in the middle of a rare weather mutation hunt (Weather Events) unless you can finish the hunt first.

Delay rebirth when:

• You are one Egg away from a mutation hatch during Hacked / Lava / Toxic weather.
• You have huge unspent Cash that could finish a key Animal upgrade or a Dumbbell that unlocks the next wall this life.
• You just unlocked a new biome (for example Ancient Egypt) and have not sampled its Eggs yet.
• Your board is empty — hatch and place first (Best Animals).

Early-game vs mid-game vs late rebirths

Early (first rebirth)

After Wood → Stone → Silver → Heavy and into early Rares (Pancakes / Super Heavy), take a rebirth once a small Animal board exists. The goal is to stop living hand-to-mouth on $1k–$10k purchases. Read Getting Started if you are not there yet.

Mid

Around Legendary / Mythic Dumbbells (Anvil through Bloxy), rebirth cadence increases. Cash walls for Moon, Sun, Skyscraper, and Ban Hammer hurt without multipliers. Use the Dumbbells Tier List so rebirth Cash buys high-value Strength, not every Mythic on sight.

Late

Secret → God → OG → Divine → Transcendent → Ancient → Celestial tiers (Frosted through Void Star at $2.62Qi / 875k/s) demand stacked multipliers plus mutated Animals. Late rebirths are less about “can I?” and more about “did I convert Cash into permanent board power before confirming?”

Pre-rebirth checklist

1. Equip and own the best Dumbbell you can reasonably afford this life.
2. Hatch inventory Eggs; place best Animals for offline earn.
3. Spend Cash on upgrades that complete before rebirth if they permanently improve the board.
4. Claim Animal index rewards so nothing is left pending.
5. Note the next wall Strength requirement so you resume training with purpose.
6. If codes ever exist, redeem first (Codes) — do not rely on them today.
7. Confirm the in-game keep list still says Dumbbells persist.

Strategy tips that compound

• Dumbbells keep means investing in Strength tools is almost always correct before a rebirth dump of soft Cash.
• Animals + mutations are your multiplier multipliers — rebirth Cash % on a Rainbow board beats the same % on junk pets.
• Wall breakpoints matter more than vanity Strength/s. A rebirth that funds the Dumbbell which finishes a gate pays rent immediately.
• Server size 5 means contested Eggs; sometimes rebirth → faster train → break alternate biome is smarter than fighting Void contested spawns.
• Scripts with Auto Rebirth can ruin runs if thresholds are naive — if you use them, read the Scripts Hub disclaimer and set high Cash floors.

Example pacing story

You clear Beach walls with Heavy / Pancakes, hatch a few Animals, and Cash stalls before Kettlebell / Gold. Rebirth once, return with the same Rare Dumbbells, fly through early Cash, push Desert/Arctic, and bank Eggs. Next life you chase a weather mutation, lock Diamond or Rainbow, then rebirth again only after those pets are placed. That pattern beats ten panic rebirths with an empty farm.
