Rankings that match the real loop

Tier lists on this wiki score progression value inside +1 Strength for Eggs: how fast a pick helps you break the next wall, fund the next Dumbbell, or multiply Animal Cash. Raw Strength/s still matters, but a mid-tier buy that unlocks a richer biome can beat a vanity flex item you cannot afford yet.

Mutations Tier ListRainbow S-tier, Diamond A, others B — weather vs natural

How to use these tiers

  1. Open the Dumbbells Guide tables for exact prices and Strength/s (Wood 15/s → Void Star 875k/s).
  2. Cross-check ranks on the Dumbbells Tier List so you skip traps that look strong but stall Cash.
  3. When Hacked, Lava, or Toxic weather hits, switch to the Mutations Tier List and mutation guide.
  4. After big Animal upgrades, revisit whether your next Cash spike should buy a Dumbbell or fund a Rebirth.

Tiers will shift if Crazay ASMR retunes prices after biome updates (see Ancient Egypt notes). Recheck after major patches, and remember: an S-tier Dumbbell you cannot buy yet is still an F-tier choice for this session.

Ranking checklist before you spend Cash

Use this hub as a decision board, not a flex list. Before every major purchase or hatch decision, walk the checklist:

  1. What wall am I stuck on right now? If Strength is the bottleneck, open the Dumbbells Tier List and buy the cheapest rank that clears the gate.
  2. Is a weather banner live? If yes, pivot to the Mutations Tier List and hunt Hacked, Lava, or Toxic Eggs before shopping vanity Dumbbells.
  3. Do I already own a better Dumbbell that is simply unequipped after a Rebirth? Equip first, spend second.
  4. Will this Cash buy a board upgrade that funds the next shop row faster than the shop row itself? Compare against Best Animals.
  5. Am I chasing endgame Celestial names like Void Star while Forest Eggs are still my main income? Drop back to early/mid ranks until Animals catch up.

Example session using both lists

Imagine you just hit Super Heavy and can almost break into Desert. The Dumbbells list says Pancakes → Super Heavy → Kettlebell are high value early. You buy Kettlebell, break the wall, and start finding better Eggs. Mid-run, Toxic weather starts. You stop browsing Mythic prices, run Toxic Eggs, hatch a 2x Toxic Animal, place it, then return to the Dumbbells list with fresh Cash. That is how the two lists work together — Strength opens biomes, mutations fund Strength.

Mistakes that make tiers useless

  • Treating S-tier as mandatory on day one
  • Ignoring Safe Zone risk while chasing Rainbow for the Mutations list
  • Buying every shop row in rarity order without checking wall breakpoints
  • Selling your only Diamond because a YouTube thumbnail said Rainbow or nothing
  • Never revisiting ranks after the Ancient Egypt biome or other patches retune Egg density

Keep both child lists bookmarked, and re-open this hub whenever an update lands or your Cash multiplier jumps after rebirth.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is the Dumbbells list sorted only by Strength per second?

No. It weighs Strength/s, price jumps, and how quickly a buy unlocks walls or Cash — progression value first.

Which mutation ranks highest?

Rainbow at 3x is S-tier. Diamond 2.5x is A-tier. Gold, Hacked, Lava, and Toxic at 2x sit in B-tier.

Should beginners follow endgame tiers?

Follow early and mid ranks first. Endgame Celestial picks only matter after Animals and Rebirth can fund them.

Where do Animals fit if this hub is Dumbbells and Mutations?

Use the Animals hub and Best Animals guide for pet priority; mutations apply on top of those Animals.

How often should I re-check tier lists?

After every major biome or shop patch, and whenever your rebirth multiplier jumps enough to change what you can afford.

Can I ignore the Mutations list if I only care about Dumbbells?

No — mutated Animals are how you fund the high-tier Dumbbell rows. Use both lists in the same session.
